Stella Becker Queiroz

Stella is known for her joyful teaching presence and ability to brighten the days of her students. Beyond that, she is a sharp, knowledgeable, and experienced instructor. Growing up in Brazil, Stella was a competitive chess player who placed first in the São Paulo State Championship U18 and eighth in the Brazil Women’s National Championship.

She later went on to pursue studies in marketing and nurture her love of photography. After a year, she decided to move to Italy for a new adventure and to pursue her passions of chess and photography full-time. Stella has taught private chess lessons to people from all over the world, in countries including Brazil, Ireland, Australia, Italy, the United States and the United Kingdom.
