Isabelle Gagnon
Isabelle’s bio - As a certified ESL youth English teacher from Canada, a Cambridge test preparator, and a recent early childhood educator still in training, Isabelle has always highly valued the power of games and creativity in any aspect of her student’s learning process to help them grow faster and better! "Chess is a game that everyone can play, and it should not be stigmatized into any special social groups or disregarded because of age, gender, culture, or country.", Isabelle says.
She wishes to teach all girls, everywhere, regardless of their age, that if a 5-year-old girl can play and love doing it with her peers, then anyone can do it! Her vision, as well as her background values, is that any girl can accomplish what she wishes. As a Girl Boss chess player, she is excited to get her students to be part of this amazing group of girls empowering themselves to believe in one another, and just keep improving their skills and have fun while doing it no matter what their level is! She strongly believes that when every girl feels empowered to bloom, either in chess or anywhere else, humanity will benefit from it!
