Intermediate (60 mins)
In this course, we will assess you and your daughters chess skills and help take your skill to the next level. If you both understand the concept of checkmate and what a checkmate looks like, you will have immediate access to PLAYLAND! upon registration.
PLAYLAND! Classes. PLAYLAND! is a space for girls to compete, apply what they learn, and foster a supportive community with shared interests. During PLAYLAND! sessions, participants can play against different opponents, participating in up to three full games every Sunday from 4:45 pm to 6:00 pm EST.
Course Prerequisites: You must know the names of the pieces, how they move, their value and how to play a game through to checkmate.
Course Duration: 10 online classes (60 min each) via Microsoft Teams
Course Fee: $520 (applicable taxes are included in the price).
