1-on-1 Chess Lesson (30 Minutes)

Our 1-on-1 Chess Lesson offers an engaging and interactive way to introduce your child to the game of chess (to see if she likes it) or determine her level of skill for class placement.

During this 30-minute virtual class, we introduce your child to the way we teach and the online tools we use, and we invite you to observe and ask all the questions that you want.

We love to bring the roles of the pieces to life and explain elements of the virtual chess board through dynamic storytelling. Our students connect with us through Zoom, a platform for video and audio collaboration, and learn using Lichess, a platform built specifically for online chess classes that offers a virtual chessboard and engaging games prepared by our instructors.
